Holidays aren't great for everyone,
Some have immediate family
That don't visit or even call.
They're just to busy.
Some remember big family
Dinners that happen no more.
Most of the family has passed,
And those that haven't can't travel too far.
Some just decide to leave
The past far behind.
Thinking only of themselves
To others feelings they are blind.
Luckily though, not everyone's
Holidays are this way.
Extended family members love
Getting together on holidays.
