Emotion vs Faith

They burn deep in the heart
And soul of mankind,
Some come from evil
And can make people blind.

Those make people do things
To get what they want,
No matter the cost--betray,
Cheat, and steal, thinking all can be bought.

Anger, greed, lust, revenge
Are but a few of the emotions
Humans feel, or some say they
Feel nothing--they're just numb.

Faith on the on the other hand, also
Lives in the heart and soul of mankind. 
It leaves no room for darkness or evil--
It frees your heart, soul and mind.

Faith is belief in things that
May not always be seen or heard.
You feel God's love and guidance-
Read the Bible, that's God's word.

Faith is the silver lining
In the clouds of emotions we feel,
It teaches us to spread love and kindness--
Not lie, cheat or steal.

When bad emotions fester within,
Remember that faith in God
Is always the best emotion to have.
Sing His praises and give Him His laud.
