A Mother's Prayer

Lord thank You for my children,
As I watch them grow each day---
Your trust in me to raise them,
Means more than I can say.

I'll make sure they are kind,
And show respect to others.
I'll do my best--though I'm not perfect,
To be a good mother.

I'll get them an education,
Both in school and in church.
And read them the Bible,
So when in need--they know where to search.

They may not have everything they want,
But they'll have everything they need--
A place to live, food to eat, clothing to wear,
And know the feeling you get doing a good deed.

Your Love, Trust and Guidance Lord
Mean so much to me--
I hope my children turn out
The way we want them to be.
