Hero's can be first responders
Like police, medical or fire.
Or they can be the person
Who helps you change your tire.

Hero's come from
All walks of life,
To help others
With their sorrows and strifes.

They stand up for what's right
And against what is wrong--
Doesn't matter their gender,
If they're weak or they're strong.

They're kind and patient
With young and old--
The rule they follow
Is the Rule of Gold.

They can be canine of feline,
They're known to help people too--
And you know the best part of all?
A hero can be YOU!
