I was born a lefty-
I am proud to say,
But things in our world
Are built to work the wrong way.
Southpaws are creative and unique,
Some are important people too,
Politicians and celebrities,
So many of us who knew?
In grade school our teachers
Asked our parent to make us change---
But because we're always in our right minds,
That request seemed kinda' strange.
I was born a lefty--
I am proud to say.
Get used to us world--
We are here to stay.
