The beauty of a mother
For some is hard to see,
But the beauty of my mother
Is very clear to me.
She lends a hand to others--
With food, a card, or a call,
She's only 5'7",
But to me she's 6 feet tall!
She'll do some little thing
To give someone's spirits a raise,
But is uncomfortable and surprised
To receive any praise.
Her faith in God is steadfast,
As is her love for her family.
These are just some of the reasons
My mother is beautiful to me.
